Global Settings Saved Locally - to be used later with updated version ?

Hi Scrite team ,

Is there a way possible to save Global Settings to be saved locally on PC / Mac - to be used later with updated version ?

Currently, I can't see a file keeping settings in the installation folder / directory on Windows. (example - settings.ini)

This will help save time & effort, used on Re-Typing everything on 'Title Page' settings and 'Print' preferences for multiple Script projects I'm working on.

@filmyartsglobal: Yes, we do store global settings in %APPDATA%\TERIFLIX\Scrite\settings.ini file.

But we dont save title page fields in this file, but its a good idea.

We have a ticket for this now: https://github.com/teriflix/scrite/issues/211

Great ! ... thank you for considering this Teriflix team.

@filmyartsglobal: Can you check the latest nightly build 0.6.1c beta? https://www.scrite.io/index.php/downloads/#nightly_builds

The following fields are stored in settings and are reused for every subsequent document.

I've tried 'saved settings' of 'Title Page' on 0.6.1e version - it's working absolutely fine for New Script created on Scrite.

Totally as I was expecting it to save me time for new scripts.

THANK YOU again Prashant jee !!

@filmyartsglobal: Although this feature was implemented in a previous update, the way it was implemented was causing trouble for some users. So we are modifying the feature just a bit. Can you take a look at this: https://github.com/teriflix/scrite/issues/239 ?

Hi Prashanth ji ,

I'm fine with this extra Button, as long as settings are saved and loaded on creating a new script.

Can't see it in 0.6.6-beta yet. maybe it's planned for next release.

(i just don't want to be typing same name, email, website on multiple scritps I'm creating in Scrite).
