Please note: this Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all paid subscription plans available from 15th January 2025. This Policy is issued by IEDN Technologies Private Limited, India, the entity responsible for the commercial operations of Scrite’s official binaries.
1. Free Trial
Access to a free trial of Scrite is not guaranteed and is offered at our sole discretion. WE reserve the right to limit, restrict, or deny free trial access to any user or device at any time, without notice or explanation. Continued or repeated misuse of the free trial may result in permanent denial of trial access. Certain information may be required to activate a free trial, and failure to provide valid information will result in trial access being withheld.
If and when a free trial is made available to you, you will have the opportunity to test the app and ensure it works well on your computer. The following terms apply to all paid subscriptions, regardless of whether a free trial was availed.
2. Device Limit
Each Scrite user must sign up for their own subscription. However, one user can activate their subscription on up to as many devices as allowed by the active subscription plan.
3. Active Feature Set
At the time of purchase, the features included in your subscription plan will be clearly described, and where applicable, the version numbers covered by the subscription will be specified. Your subscription entitles you only to the feature set as described at the time of purchase.
New features, reports, or versions of Scrite released after your subscription is activated may or may not be made available to your plan. WE reserve the right to make new features or versions exclusively available to specific subscription plans, including higher-priced plans, without any obligation to extend them to existing subscribers.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
Each subscription plan comes with a clear description of the features, device count and duration. Upon activation, you can use the said features, on as many devices as allowed by plan and for the duration specified. By subscribing, you acknowledge and agree that your payment is non-refundable and non-cancellable. This applies regardless of whether or not you use the service during the subscription period.
Please note: Subscription plans cannot be cancelled or refunded under any circumstance, even if we change pricing after you have completed your payment, or if the product stops working, behaves unexpectedly, or if WE are unable to resolve any issues during the subscription term.
5. Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions will not be automatically renewed at the end of the one-year period. You will be notified before the expiry date and will have the option to manually renew your subscription after your plan expires. WE cannot guarantee that the renewal price will remain the same.
6. Duplicate Payments
In the event of duplicate payments due to a technical error, please contact us at support@scrite.io with proof of the error. Upon verification, we will issue a refund for the duplicate payment. Refund of duplicate payment(s) will be processed using the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.
7. Partial Usage
Since our subscriptions are not cancellable, we do not offer refund for partially used subscription periods.
8. Changes to Subscriptions
At this time, Scrite does not offer the ability to upgrade or downgrade subscription plans during the active subscription period. All subscription changes, including renewals, will take effect at the end of the current subscription period.
9. Changes to the Policy
We may update this Cancellation and Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website with the updated date. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of Scrite after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new policy.
