IndiaFOSS is an annual conference for free software developers, maintainers, contributors, users and enthusiasts. The conference is primarily organized by FOSSUnited, which is backed by Kailash Nadh of Zerodha, Rushabh Mehta of Frappe, Samagatha Foundation among others.
This year there was an expanded focus on open-source projects that have ventured into monetization. The 2-day event was attended by over 2000 people and was also covered by the media.
Prashanth Udupa gave a talk on his journey of building Scrite. His project was among the five others that were featured by the Times Of India, a daily news paper in India.
